Sea Surf Rocks was born from my love of creativity. I have always gained so much enjoyment from creating something from nothing.
I studied jewellery & metalwork design at Sheffield Hallam University, where I got to find, develop and explore a passion for silversmithing. After finishing university I decided to follow my love of the ocean, settling back down South and calling Cornwall my home.
I work with sterling silver and gold, encompassing semi-precious stones & Sea glass to create unique & bespoke pieces of jewellery. I draw inspiration for my designs from my coastal surroundings and produce them in my home workshop near Watergate Bay in Cornwall.
After working for a gemstone supplier whilst in the early stages of setting up Sea Surf Rocks I found another love, Australian Opals!
l decided to drive my business in a direction where I now specialise in one of a kind Australian Opal pieces. Sourcing some of the best and most beautiful gems from a trusted selection of suppliers down under. I love to work with such unique gems and am always in awe of their incredible natural beauty.
I also stay true to my roots, creating beautiful bespoke sea glass rings for the alternative bride. I love being able to offer such sentimental sea glass engagement rings, for ocean lovers who want to share that connection to the sea as well as their partner. Made from only genuine English sea glass, either in its natural tumbled state or carefully hand shaped in my workshop.
